Sandy Smith of Womble Carlyle is a Senior Partner in the Corporate and Securities Group. Currently he works out of their Atlanta office, where he advises a variety of clients. He is also one of the founders of the firm’s Silicon Valley office. He is a trusted legal advisor to Fortune 500 companies, middle market growth companies, equity funds and their portfolio companies. Womble Carlyle has nearly 600 lawyers in 14 offices.
As a Senior Partner at Womble Carlyle, he leads teams of attorneys who have a variety of experience to help clients set then reach their goals through efficiently planned out transactions. He is also responsible for the creation and launch of Womble Carlyle’s Thought Leader Speaker Series, which attracts some of the business and academic innovators from around the country to attend and sit in on discussions that cover a variety of topics. Sandy Smith Womble Carlyle graduated from Stanford University in Palo Alto, and then served on the Board of Trustees of Stanford University.
